m32: Wild American Alligator Leather Case

A boxy case in cognac alligator, with an arched handle and a brass lock, built to stand square on a table.

The skin

The case is real American alligator in a rich chestnut. I prefer wild skins, which can show scars, as in the sample photographs. Farm-raised skin is the other option, and it is more pristine.

Structure

10 x 7 x 6 inches, a structured box case with an arched top handle, a brass key lock and a side ring for the shoulder strap, 20 inch drop. The lining is either bridle leather or Italian calf suede, and the sample opens to a burgundy interior. Hand saddle stitched.
