• You basically want to keep the leather from drying out.  How many times you should apply conditioner depends on your environment.
• Leather Cleaners are used to take dirt out of the leather.  They also take out oil and make it dry.  Use a conditioner afterwards.
• No leather conditioner is waterproof.  The wax conditioners will repel water but if water sits on the leather it Might penetrate and create water spots.  Wipe off immediately.  The water spots will eventually work themselves through the leather fibers as they loosen.  At first you might see some discoloration, but as the leather fades, patinas and the dyes set the spot should fade.

For Bridle leather

The UK English bridle leather has a light greasy top coat put on at the tannery.  This and all the waxes inside is what gives it that shiny coat.  Eventually the top coat fades and dries.  At this point you can start feeding the leather with conditioner.  The American bridle leather does not have that greasy top coat so it will take in the Leather feed sooner.

• Apply conditioner on a clean cloth and rub constantly and briskly into the leather.
• Let it sit.
• With a clean dry cloth begin to buff out the excess
• Light color transfer may occur in the beginning we recommend applying leather conditioner often until the dyes settle into the leather fibers
• This is full grain and will have natural variations.
• Avoid severe weather conditions and Rain.  If water does get on the leather, wipe it off and allow it to dry naturally.

For Suede Leather

• Do not use any oil leather conditioner and avoid water
• use a soft toothbrush to clean
• you can also use a can of air to lightly blow out the leather to clean

For Vegetable Tanned Leather

• Use leather conditioner or Leather Oil
• Apply conditioner on a clean cloth and rub constantly and briskly into the leather.
• Let it sit.
• With a clean dry cloth begin to buff out the excess
• Light color transfer may occur in the beginning we recommend applying leather conditioner often until the dyes settle into the leather fibers
• This is full grain and will have natural variations.
