Drawing on years of experience in crafting bridle leather briefcases, I have honed my skills to understand precisely what elements make for a functional, durable, and aesthetically pleasing design. The styles you find on my website are the culmination of real-world testing, refined through trial and error. Employing old-world techniques such as hand saddle stitching, I ensure the strength and durability of critical areas like corners and gussets. The quality of the thick leather I use is unmatched, specifically chosen for its longevity and suitability in a professional setting. My briefcases are built with a lasting legacy in mind; hence, you won’t find elements like zippers, faux buckles, or flimsy locks, nor will you see designs that haven’t stood the test of time.

Here’s how the process works:
- Select your desired briefcase style, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout.
- During checkout, make a note of any specific customizations you desire.
- After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email.
- I then source a fresh leather hide, ordering directly from the tannery unless it’s available in stock. Note that obtaining UK bridle leather may involve longer wait times due to its availability and import processes.
- If production extends beyond the usual 4 to 24 week timeframe, I will keep you updated via email. Feel free to check in for updates.
- Once your item is ready for dispatch, you’ll receive a tracking number.
- Please note, I can only ship to the home or office address provided at the start of your order. Alternate address types, like hotels, require prepayment via Bank Wire Transfer.
- Your item will be fully insured during shipping and will require a signature upon delivery.
- Finally, the moment to enjoy your bespoke Marcellino briefcase arrives.
Production Lead Times
It can be anywhere from 4 to 24 weeks to produce most briefcases. Small items might be quicker. You can always email me to get an idea of my current lead time. Reach out if you need it within a certain time frame, like for a birthday or holiday. jp@marcellinony.com
