Ulysses 2551

The closure on the Ulysses 2551 is a piece of cut leather with a black alloy buckle beneath it.

The flap carries a shaped tab, curved at the top into two points like a crescent, stitched down with cream thread. Below it, a black quick-release buckle clips to a short leather strap on the front panel. The color is oxblood red, glossy, with dark edges that outline the flap and the tab.

From above, the handle is a flat strip held at each end by a pointed leather keeper, and the stitching runs the whole length. A long shoulder strap closes with a silver buckle and hooks to a ring on the side of the case, and the photograph with the strap on shows it crossing the top of the case.
