Tilman 3101

No lock plate, no buckles, no straps over the flap. The Tilman 3101 closes with one metal latch hooked through a leather loop.

The leather is black bridle with dark stitching, and the flap curves over the front to meet the loop at the center. The loop is stitched down with a row of grey thread and carries a small stamped mark. The latch is nickel, a curved hook that sits against the black leather. A short handle crosses the top, and rings at the corners take a shoulder strap that clips on with nickel hooks.

The case is leather lined. Open, it shows black leather on the inside walls and dividers that split it into compartments, with an edge of grey leather showing where they meet. Seen from the end, the gusset folds in layers.
