Thomson 2211
A rounded flap and a round brass lock. The Thomson 2211 is built from those two shapes.
The leather is dark brown bridle, and the flap curves down over the front to meet the lock at the center. The lock is brass, set against the leather in a ring of stitching. A slim handle crosses the top, fixed with brass rings at each end, and a brass ring on the side takes a shoulder strap.
In the first photograph, the color runs from plum to near-black as the light moves across the flap, with light stitching along the edge. Another frame puts the case on a stone terrace with trees and a house behind it. In the angled shots the case is slim, and the edge of the leather shows as a pale line down the side.
