Sir Edmond Halley 1656: Black Leather Briefcase with Two Buckled Straps and Brass Hardware

Sir Edmond Halley 1656 is a black leather briefcase with a rounded flap, two buckled straps and a brass lock between them. The stitching is gold, and brass D-rings sit at the top corners beside the handle.

The first photograph shows the front with a small tag hanging from a strap. The second turns the case onto its side, where straps run around the body, and the third opens it to show the tan interior. The last stands the case on a black stand in front of a black hide and a framed painting.
