Sir Edmond Halley 1655: Tan Leather Briefcase with Brass Lock and Strap Tab

Sir Edmond Halley 1655 is a tan leather briefcase with a rounded flap and gusseted sides. A strap loops down from the handle to a pointed leather tab that covers a brass lock.

The first photograph shows the case on white. The second is a close view of the brass lock and the catch at the side of the case. The third looks at the lock with its tab lifted, and the last sets the briefcase on a black stand in a room with a mannequin and shelves of other cases behind.
