George W Carver 651: Tan with a Brass Hook (very early version)

George W Carver 651 is a briefcase in a bright, clear tan. The flap is long and rounded, and a brass hook passes through a stitched leather tab to hold it shut.

A short leather handle sits on top, with brass fittings at each end. A brass ring on the side takes the shoulder strap, which in one of the photos loops around the front of the case.

Open, the inside of the flap is a rough, suede-like leather with three rivets showing and a small leather tab with a brass loop at the edge.
