Juno 1115
Juno 1115 is a slim flap briefcase in tan leather, and its lock is the point of the design.
A nickel push lock sits in the center of the flap, mounted on a square leather plate with its own border of stitching. A press releases it, and a press closes it again. No strap, no buckle, nothing to thread.
The handle is rolled leather, held to the body by two rivets on each side. Seen from the side, the case is shallow, with a dark painted edge running down the gusset.
I photographed it on a bed of wooden wedges, the kind used in a sound studio, and the warm light turned the tan nearly orange. The lock closeup shows the stitching better than any full-case shot could.
