William James 449: Tan Leather Briefcase with Brass Turn Lock and Shoulder Strap

William James 449 is a slim tan leather briefcase with a deep flap and a brass turn lock at the center. A handle sits on top, and a long shoulder strap clips on at each side with brass hooks.

The first photograph is the front, with the strap running along the bottom. The second is a three-quarter view of the flap and a clip.

The last two hang it from the shoulder of a weathered stone statue in a garden, one from the front and one from the side.
