William James 267: Tan Leather Briefcase with Two Straps, Brass Turn Lock and Hang Tag

William James 267 is a tan leather briefcase. Two straps with brass buckles run down the flap, a brass turn lock sits between them, and a black hang tag with the Joseph P. Marcellino Co. name hangs on the side.

The back carries two straps of its own, stitched at the ends.

The first two photographs show the front and the back. The third looks closely at the lock and the buckles. The last hangs the briefcase on a white wall beside its shoulder strap, which has a brass clip at each end.
