Open the flap of the Thomas More 1914 and the inside is green.
The outside is quiet by comparison. Brown bridle leather, dark brown straps with brass buckles, a leather handle, and brass D rings at the corners for a strap. The back is a plain brown panel with light stitching around the edge.
The lining is suede, a deep green, and it covers the underside of the flap.
Seen from the end, the straps cross the flap and the D rings sit on the side.
