Two shades of brown, one pattern. These are the stitched wallets.
The leather is a little uneven in color. A single line of stitching runs close to the edge. On the front there is a stamped JP mark with lettering under it.
Open one up and the inside is plain: a curved pocket on one side, a flat panel on the other.
I made them in a tan-brown and in a dark brown.
An earlier Wallace 2209 in chestnut English bridle leather with brass buckles, a key lock and dark-edged layered gussets. Made at Marcellino NY.
Newton 2023 is a black leather briefcase with a brass hook closure and a stitched leather wrap, a black shoulder strap with brass clips and side D-rings.

William James 266 is a red leather briefcase I made by hand, with two buckled straps, a brass turn lock, a top handle and a long shoulder strap.
Lavana 115, an angular suede bag in golden tan with a cast metal animal for a handle, an orange leather band across the flap and a large patinated buckle.
