Oort 52: Tan Leather Cylinder Bag with a Cast Metal Handle

Oort 52 is a cylinder of tan leather, closed at each end by a round disc with a black edge. A flap folds over the top and a strap with a buckle holds it shut.

The handle is cast metal, in the form of a stringed instrument laid flat, with the neck and strings running along the top. The same figure appears upright on the side of the cylinder in another photograph.

Underneath, steel studs raise the bag off a table. The inside of the flap is pale and carries a few rivets.
