Maxwell 2051

Maxwell 2051 is a tan briefcase built around a single center strap. The strap runs down the middle of the flap and closes on a nickel buckle, with a keeper below it to hold the tail.

The flap is cut in an angle, not a curve, and the leather has the lived-in look of tan hide with visible grain. A handle rises from the top and a shoulder strap hooks onto D-rings at the sides, where the case edge is painted dark.

The strap pad is worth a look on its own. It carries the JP stamp, pressed into the leather, with the shoulder strap running out from it.
