m6: Small Hand Case, Brown and Yellow

Brown flap, dark body, a yellow handle and a yellow gusset. It looks like a cigar box that learned to carry a shoulder strap.

Brown on dark

The flap is brown. The lower body is a dark, almost aubergine leather, and the gusset and handle are bright yellow. The lock is brass, set at the center of the flap edge. Marked on the flap is the Marcellino stamp.

Size and build

m6 is a small hand case with a shoulder strap, 10 x 7 x 4 inches, a single section with a leather lining, vegetable tanned leather, Italian-made brass lock, hand saddle stitched.

Outdoors on granite

I put m6 on a granite table outdoors with a pond behind it. In direct light the brown flap turns orange and the body turns plum. The camera did not invent that. It is how that leather reacts to sun.
