Black leather outside, red inside. The handle on top is a brass horse, and it sits between two small brass buckles.
A gold-tone chain clips on as a strap, so the case hangs from the shoulder or gets carried by the horse. The flap closes on a brass lock. Open it and the lining is red, with a black pocket running across the back wall.
