Luigi Aloisio Galvani 1781 is a black leather briefcase with a rounded flap. A brass combination lock with three dials sits on a leather tab at the front, and a stitched handle runs across the top.

The first photograph shows the whole case. The second turns it over to show the handle and a brass D-ring at the end.
