Lavana 115: Suede Bag with a Cast Animal Handle and Patinated Buckle

Lavana 115 is cut in angles. The suede is a golden tan, and the flap, the sides and the base are all faceted rather than rounded, with a grey-green edge running around each plane.

On top stands a cast animal, long in the body and low on its legs, its tail curving up and over. This is the handle. An orange leather band runs across the flap beneath it, closed with a large buckle in a patinated, studded surround.

The second photograph is the side, where the faceting shows best. The third is the buckle up close, with the suede, the orange band and the pale stitching all in the frame. The last looks straight down on the top, the animal lying along the band.
