Jefferson 2454
Jefferson 2454 is blue bridle leather, and the hide has a mottled, cloudy surface with darker patches that look like weather on a stone.
That finish is how the leather came, and I left it alone. A nickel lock sits at the center of the flap, with a handle on top.
The case is built in two sections, and from the side the stacked layers show as dark bands. Open the flap and the interior is divided into compartments with a light lining, each separated by a leather wall.
On a different day, under different light, the blue might read as grey or as slate. In these photos it sits somewhere between the two.
