Darwin 1141: Russet Briefcase, Strap on Silver Hooks

Russet leather, a flap that sweeps over the front, and a handle stitched in a lighter thread. A leather tab hangs from the flap and is held by a ring.

Silver rings are set into tabs at the sides, and the strap clips onto them with snap hooks. The strap lies in a loop beside the case in the photos. The sides are layered, one gusset on top of another, and under the flap there are two rivets.
