Athena 801: Black Barrel Bag with a Spiked Ring Handle

Athena 801 is a black barrel: a leather cylinder with round ends, a flap folding over the top and a ring handle on the lid. Spikes run along the ring.

The shoulder strap carries the same spikes, spaced down its length, with a nickel buckle and clips at the ends. A nickel hook closes the front through a leather tab, with a short chain of small links beside it.

The second photograph is the end of the barrel, where a leather loop takes the strap clip. In the third, the flap lifts and the inside is orange-tan, stitched. The last is the front with the strap lying around it.
