Achilles 43.00: Oxblood with a Brass Knuckle Handle
Achilles 43.00 is the one with the brass. The leather is a dark oxblood, close to black along the edges and redder where the light hits the flap, and the hardware is all brass: a knuckle handle on top, an English-style lock at the center of the flap, and small brass rings at the sides for the shoulder strap.
The handle is the part people ask about. It rises out of the top of the flap on a bar, in polished brass against the dark leather.
Open the flap and the case divides into two sections, with the lining the same oxblood as the outside. The photographs here are the catalog set for this one, shot against a plain white background.
