A long green box with a snake lying along its lid. The snake is cast brass, a cobra, and it works as the handle.
The stitching is white and runs over every edge and corner, so the box has an outline you can see from across the room. Two brass buckles on green straps hold the lid down at the front. Lift the lid and the inside is green too, with two brass rivets on the underside of the lid.
