Adams 1057: Saddle Tan (very early version)

Adams 1057 is a compact briefcase in saddle tan leather. The flap comes down over the front and closes with a metal hook that slides through a leather tab, and an arched leather handle stands up from the top.

The color deepens toward brown near the edges and gets lighter where the flap catches the light. Small rings on the sides take the shoulder strap, which in the photos lies coiled beside the case with its buckle showing.

Open, the case shows a rough leather interior with a tab and a buckle sewn to the underside of the flap.
