Maxwell 2053
Maxwell 2053 is harness leather with the edges burnished and left natural, a quieter finish than the painted edges I usually put on this style.
A center strap closes the flap with a brass buckle, and a flat handle comes off the top. In the video I walk through a Maxwell-style case like this one: the 2-inch gusset, the 16 by 12 size, the strap and the back newspaper pocket.
Open the flap and the underside is a pale, unfinished tan. A second strap on the side takes a shoulder strap, and the buckle in the closeup shows the stitched keepers around it.
From the side the case is slim, a flat body with a strap down the middle.
