McCarty 1533: Black Briefcase With a Wire Clasp

Black leather, and the clasp is the thing to look at. A stitched leather tab drops from the flap onto a metal clasp made of bent wire, with a curved brass-colored catch at the bottom.

The handle is fixed to the top with snaps. A ring sits at each side for the strap, and the strap lies coiled beside the case in the first photo. Open the flap and the body is divided into compartments, packed with paper.
