Maxwell 2052

Maxwell 2052 is cut from American harness leather, a stiff, tan hide with visible grain that I work with a lot of hand stitching.

A single strap runs down the center of the flap and buckles at the front. The back carries a slip pocket, held across its width by a second strap with a keeper, so things stay put without a flap or zipper.

A shoulder strap hooks to D-rings at the sides, and the dark painted edge shows along the gusset in the side view.

One of the photos is from the bench, with the case in a red-dyed finish beside my thread, awls and edge tools.
